Relaxing around the campground with nightly entertainment.

The last couple of days we have taking it easy relaxing around the campground. I have been riding the bike and of course Bev has been line dancing everyday.

Friday night there was a DJ and dancing in the activity center. Most of the dancing was line dancing which I don't do but Bev was very active. We did do a couple of slow dances together and one polka which really got our hearts beating.

There was a good group of line dancers and you can see Bev doing her thing on the right in the back.

The music was great and everyone had a great time. It's always fun to hang out with a group of fellow snow birders.

Saturday evening started out with a Golf Cart Christmas Parade which traveled up and down most of the roads in the campground and continued on past 9:00 pm. They honked their horns and shouted out Merry Christmas to everyone they passed. It was great fun and people really got into it decorating their carts, here are a few of them.

Most Snow Birders are old and they really love their golf carts. Of course Bev and I are not old so we don't have one.

While the parade was still going on, at 7:00 pm the entertainment started in the activity center. The group was "Kickin Country Bluegrass"and they put on a great show.

The line dancers and the two steppers were out on the floor doing their thing. There were four couples from our group that were excellent two steppers and quite interesting to watch. Of course you know Bev was out on the floor kicking up her heals line dancing with a group.

Everyone had a great time and it was much better than watching TV especially since there is very little worth watching.

Today I got my exercise in doing routine maintenance on the camper while Bev was back messing around in the activity center. After lunch we headed for the CVS just down the street so Bev could develop some of the pictures she took of the Christmas Golf Carts. She got a kick out of them and wanted to post pictures of the decorated carts on the bulletin board.

This is a great lifestyle, there is always something to do and it is a lot of fun meeting new people with the same interests.
