OK - OK so where the hell is Tom and Bev's Travel Blog?

We have been back in Connecticut for the last few months and I really didn't have any travel info to post although we had a lot of activity.

First, as you know, our new 2012 Honda CRV was battered by a massive hail storm while we were in Colorado so we had to get it repaired. Our neighbor and good friend Dave Ross suggested we bring it to A and R Autobody in Torrington, which we did. The Insurance Adjuster had mentioned that it would take up to 6 weeks to get repaired and he was close. A and R had the car for 5 weeks and had to replace most of the skin on the car. They showed us pictures of the process and the car was completely taken apart. The roof, hood, and sides of the car were gone. It looked like it was hit by a train.

We finally got the car back and it was amazing. The car looked like it just came from the Honda show room. We are sure glad Dave suggested A and R Autobody because they did a fantastic job. Thanks Dave we really appreciate it.

The next exciting thing was our granddaughter Brittany's 21st birthday party. Holly's friend (and ours) Kevin Edmiston planed a surprise party for her that was amazing.

Now wasn't that the look of a surprised Brittany. Kevin and Holly blind folded her and drove her around a bit before they came to Linda's house. She was totally surprised!

All of her family and friends, including her buds from Troy came. It was a great party and everyone had a great time.

There was a lot of effort planning the party and keeping it a total surprise. Thank you for the wonderful job you did Kevin, we all really appreciated it.

That wasn't all the excitement though. Our grandson Eric was home from the Marines for a couple of weeks for his wedding to Sara Musselman.

Eric still single at this point. Isn't he handsome.

Bev and I are very pleased to have such a wonderful new grand-daugher Sara. We wish Eric and Sara a wonderful long life together.

We are so happy to have added the whole Musselman family, Jill, Scott, Spencer, and of course all the dogs, cats, and fish. They can thank Eric for all the critters!

On a sad note Eric is now back in North Carolina and will be deployed to Afghanistan in a couple of days. We all miss you very much and you will be in our hearts and prayers always.

On to our travels.

Bev and I left Connecticut Tuesday 9/18, fighting our way through the heavy rains to the Circle M Campground in Lancaster, PA. We will be here for one week before we move on to Virginia.

I will post more from Lancaster in the next few days.
